DATA REQUESTS

The Crime Research Group is available to provide assistance to the public, researchers, policymakers, and the media regarding crime, criminal sentencing, and highway safety data. Click on the Data Request Form link at the bottom of this page to send the CRG staff an email to request information. When completing the Data Request Form please be as complete as possible as to the nature of the information you are requesting.

The CRG provides a specialized data request service to prosecuting and defense attorneys concerning criminal sentencing information. This information is developed from the Center’s Adjudication Database which contains sentencing information on all felony and misdemeanor charges prosecuted in Vermont District Courts over the past 20 years. When requesting sentencing information it is important to provide detailed information regarding the nature of the request.

Due to staff availability and work schedules, requests should be made at least one week prior to when the information is needed.
